In the middle of the night, Greycie Loo threw up on the bed, thus bringing us to a feline trifecta.

Christine believes she's doing OK, i've washed the quilt (had pretravel laundry to do, anyhow) and Christine's taking Edward to the vet as i type.

It's been a busy morning so far, as i caught up a little with work and then started the amazing computer backup and cloning trick. As i type, it is from the mirror of my personal machine running of the external firewire drive. I'm using my work machine, which is the only one i'll take. I now realize the value of having both two half TB portable drives. One will be staying home as the other travels with me.

Back to packing: i've clarified that an umbrella probably isn't necessary. Thunderstorms on Sunday should be delicious.
