I'm not quite able to repeat yesterday. I think i'm going to punt on the 7:30 conference. I still need to get to the office to begin our planning at 8 am.

The long work has been good in one sense, in that i feel worries i carry, concerns, "needs to do," are being passed over to partners who can take these on. It's a dense education in details i have packed in my head.

I may not *really* pick up things from the floor, but metaphorically, i find all the bits and pieces and hold them in a great big jumblebag in my mind. It's a talent, in someways: a problem presents itself and i know which of those loose pieces i can attach it to.

Oh, must go back into the breach.

No good deed goes unpunished, and then i stupidly asked a question to show me just how wrong i was to do the "good" deed.

Crap.

I was given warnings by the universe, plenty of places i could back out because the requester was flakey, but i was intent on helping someone (knowing i'd want help, too).

Turns out i didn't know a bucket of stuff going on.

(I suspect drug use, now, as many little things fall into place.)

Thanks for the cheers on my "no good deed goes unpunished." It's hard to know what makes the universe a better place. I'm not sure if i did.

Otherwise, though, this very intense workday was punctuated with some sunshine, so that was good for my mood. It was also punctuated with "CRISIS" by Flaky Guy. His crying CRISIS made me aware a staff member whose good cheer had tuned sour in the last weeks was not present, surprising for someone very reliable. A low grade worry about this person churned and turned to a higher grade worry. It turns out a dental visit had gone MUCH over. "They got in there and kept finding things." I wonder if the sour mood was due to tooth pain. (And not the Stupid Work Headaches this person is dealing with.)

I shall head to sleep now! Exhausted.
