"Do I keep my life uncluttered with things and activities, avoiding commitments beyond my strength and light?" -- Query from Pacific Yearly Meeting Advices & Queries
This morning, i feel the answer is a resounding no. I made the mistake of getting distracted by Amazon's Cloud Player offer. Sure, i'll upload my music to your player. At the moment, i don't intend to pay $25 a year for the cloud player, but...
Then one app wants an upgrade (it didn't work on my work machine, so i do some fiddling to save off the app before i upgrade and copy it where it will be available when i get to work). After going through the ritual of testing, i note that i need a newer version of the OS for the new version of the app to work.
Meanwhile, i am also following the steps to uninstall all of Evernote and reinstall, hoping to resolve an annoying problem.
This sure feels cluttered. But mainly, i think i'm just not looking forward to a day of meetings, feeling the weariness i carry from the trip. I acknowledge that yesterday was productive, personally and professionally. Errands run, tasks started.
Here's a toast to a new day and a drive to work where i center and quiet my mind.
