Yesterday, lunch with DRR, my ex-boss. He seems well and in good spirits looking for a new job. I've heard him bitter and frustrated in the past, and while he's got some anger about job hunting (some companies won't consider hiring someone who is not employed) the bitterness seems far away. He seems in a good hopeful mental frame.
And very very glad not to be still at the Whale.
Today i will see my therapist in the afternoon and talk about context switching, finding deep rest, and how to figure out what my natural rhythms are in unnatural settings.
While that goes on, our new sofa will be delivered (http://pinterest.com/pin/78187688/ in recliner pose). Our old sofa and loveseat will be shoved to the side, to be claimed on Sunday. I might run by Ikea and buy a slipcover (http://pinterest.com/pin/78152362/ ) but Christine reminds me of her schedule for the day and for tomorrow.
