I really need my vacation: one more week. As i told my therapist, i think i'm already starting. My energy and focus are just not present. I keep watching the fog model at http://www.sfgate.com/weather/fog/fogtopfar.shtml . Santa Cruz remains socked in by the marine layer, but it looks like the coastline near Watsonville is clear all the time.

Unfortunately, the Watsonville forecast doesn't match the fog map: "Mostly cloudy. Patchy fog and drizzle. Highs in the lower 70s. Southeast winds around 5 mph...becoming southwest 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon. Tonight: Mostly cloudy. Patchy fog and drizzle. Lows in the mid 50s. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph in the evening...becoming light."

Our living room refresh project made a great leap forward yesterday. Last Sunday i added a "stained glass" pattern film to the window by the entry door. We now have a new sofa that also functions as a bed AND as a double lounger. Considering how Christine and i usually lounged in the living room, the lounger is very appropriate.

I think i have a headache from the fumes from the new furniture, although trying to manage photos in online galeries and then share appropriately this morning really has been a pain.

Oooh that does look comfy in situ. But where are the cats lounging on it?

Well, the mover folks had just left, so the cats hadn't quite decided it was safe to return to the living room. Mr M and Edward seem to have claimed it as sleeping zone....

I went in to take a photo, but where i kneeled was the "give cats snack zone," so Mr M promptly got up to get a snack.
