Dec 23, 6:45 pm, phone rings. It's a cold call from some one trying to sell us AT&T internet service. "Ma'am, do you have a computer?" Her accent sounded like she was calling from the south east, so it's late there. Poor dear, tough gig.

I've read a Heinlein story, one of the "for boys" circa 1950 stories. In it, there is a Martian creature called the "flat cat" that is the progenitor of the Tribble. Adorable. And the Heinlein story was just right for being sick.

I've played World of Goo, and made a wild rice and tofu soup. Skyped with my mother's father and his wife, and they got off the call quickly as they listened to my voice.
