Well, i clicked through the agreement page having read other's routes to some assurance. However, if you are posting on Dreamwidth, i've dropped you on LJ. I also dropped a whole stack of communities and folks who have disappeared.

If i dropped you, please feel free to let me know!

I need to make a post that points to Dreamwidth that's visible if you aren't logged in. I may start posting comments with my Dreamwidth account if your journal allows that. Haven't sorted that out in my head.

So, that's the latest administrivia.

I canceled my late mother's account and set all but the last few off my posts on LJ to Private. Not sure what to do, if anything, about the photographs I've got up there; I may just cancel my account, I think. SFF Net, where I hung out for nearly 20 years, closed down at the end of March, and I'm feeling quite bereft.

I started supporting Dreamwidth years ago because it was a women run tech business with a focus on free speech. They can migrate posts, although i don't know about photos. I hope that folks migrate there instead of just quit -- so many have gone off to Facebook land, i realized as i paged through the lists of folks with whom my journal is shared.

I'm not going to accept the license agreement. So I cannot delete my LJ. Fortunately it will eventually be auto-deleted for inactivity. I'll miss the handful of people there that I followed who had not already moved to dreamwidth. And more importantly, a couple of communities. My name there is not the same as it is here, but please feel free to drop me.
