So, there's the ghost emoji: 👻. I've no idea how that's going to show up in your browser, on your computer. If it does render as a character, the depiction varies on the system "font" - https://emojipedia.org/ghost/

I was feeling playful and labeled today's todo list with the 👻. Then i thought to search Evernote for 👻. This was unsatisfactory. For example, in the string

 << To-dos |OOO| QV D&D >>  

The "<<", "-", and "&" were all hits. Unicode, shmonicode.

However, the Mac's spotlight search was perfect, finding today's, yesterday's, and tomorrow's notes. (I cross-link my todo lists. Crazy person.)

Google & Bing are interesting in how they search for a unicode character, searching more for the name of the character than the character itself. Sadly, that precludes a sort of global picto-language from being searchable....

It's mint green, for some reason. Can't really see the details, but it looks to be round, with little arms and feet and a protruding tongue? Not listed on the emojipedia page. Presumably Firefox is too old hat for them to list?

It seems the variations are pretty diverse. I use firefox, but i get my operating system's rendering. Are you using a linux variant?

Eek, no! It keeps updating itself, though, which I don't really appreciate. And I suppose I'm using Windoze 7? Not really sure. I think I'm seeing the same thing as srukle, but I can't see the details well at all.

I adore this ghost emoji. Thank you for sharing. It appears as a green character with arms sticking out, googly eyes, and a tongue sticking out. It does not appear as Mozilla should, as the link would seem to indicate.

Heh, mine's a pretty common white sheet ghost, winking & sticking out it's tongue. Seems a good thing to know: the pictogram quality of the emoji leads to a far more diverse interpretation than the usual font variation.
