Power blinks this morning, thunder and lightning, flash flood alerts, and a much more severe COVID-19 threat map from the NYTimes.
Very thankful to have rain to push back the drought.

Hmm, looks like the NYT is doing good analytic coverage of the pandemic. I used to love that paper ... good for them, hope they're getting good data to base it on.
That said, this is all terrifying, let's focus on the much needed rain instead.
