Planet Organics has disappointed me again. Two red onions instead of two pounds of red potatoes. And a problematic orange. Signups for Hidden Villa CSA begins next week: http://hiddenvilla.org/csa.php .

Heat has helped my back/neck pain, along with Doans and Aleve. Why was the Doans on the bottom shelf in the drug store? Hmm?

I spent my writing time this morning writing about Friend's discernment process, and then found one friend posted "Leadership Lessons from Dancing Guy" (see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fW8amMCVAJQ or read http://sivers.org/ff ) and [livejournal.com profile] bobby1933 posted about Chuang-tzu on leadership. The convergence seems like a rich thematic meal that i've yet to digest.

Apparently "emoticons" aren't entirely novel with the internet: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irony_mark

Oh, those French and their wacky punctuation.

The world has produced a lot of, wossname...oh hell. Not coincidence, but that thing...where...hell. Where you seem to be getting a similar message from all points of the Universe. There's a word for it. Anyway, mine were all about anger and what it means to be civilized and how people with more privilege marginalize the voices of people with less privilege, etc. Interesting. :-D

That CSA is bollocks. Red onions are tasty, but two red onions is not quite as nourishing as two pounds of red potatoes.
