I crocheted for about an hour this morning then moved on to reading email/twitter+facebook RSS/LJ for an hour -- which included iterum's recommendation of the two most recent "Literal Videos" from this artist.

Now what. Let's not beat myself up for letting the time slip by.

The first thing i wanted to find when i turned on the computer is a bit about making buttons with seed beads and crochet. The searches i tried were not the most productive as the three key terms can be used in so many different contexts. The top hit was the beaded ball (and here i add to its link ranking), the flatter button in the frog could probably be adapted with bead stitches as well.

I made a button i'll need to document it in a bit. ~ 1 yd doubled thread, 6 beaded sc, 12 beaded sc, drop one thread, stuck in old button, 6 joined sc, 3 joined sc, fastened off.

I awoke realizing i'd forgotten to take my antihistamine before bed. And then when i looked in the mirror i saw my eye is swelling again: the area between lid and brow, towards the nose. BAH.

Must get out the D20 and start puttering through the day.

Oh. Have a new table. Yesterday was spent dealing with a rather comical series of calls from the shipper about picking it up at the depot, because my mom discovered it was cheaper to not have it delivered. Of course, we don't have A Truck like they have and the shipper's hours don't include weekends. There are buttons in all of this, mainly that i requested that she check with me before shipping. But all's well that ends well. Now to determine how to rid ourselves of the other table.

I may also be parting with my wedding dress today. That's a call i need to make....
