I just don't know if i will post to catch up with my own notes for last week.

I feel hung over this morning, and have not had alcohol since the evening of the 23rd when feasting my brother and his wife. Yesterday was pretty emotional with the worry, and the pain in my throat has reached my cussing point. "Is this COVID?" "You don't have COVID, you are exhausted" ping-pongs in my brain.

I write on the What's App channel i share with my siblings and niblings, "I keep checking for crisis messages and being relieved when i see none. I hope all slept well! We are all well here at Cl--wood[1]. The cats and i went out in the moonlight (i watched a plane pass a satellite in the sky), and now everyone seems back asleep as i watch the sky brighten and read in the room illuminated by the Christmas tree."

My sister in law replied, "We are all fine. I tested [S--], [D--] and I again last night with the extra at home test I found and we are still negative but also Low risk. I’m so glad my dad managed to arrange a covid test and vaccine shot for [S--] our first day in America (it wasn’t available to her in Singapore). We all have some coverage and are Low risk so we aren’t stressed out and just trying to enjoy our hotel quarantine. Luckily [D--] and [S--] and I have done hotel Q before in Singapore for 14 days. At least here we can go outside for fresh air. Big improvement and we are all taking it in stride. Hoping we can do a Christmas Take 2 soon when this passes. This will be a Christmas to remember!!!"

I do wonder why my brother is not being re tested as he IS at risk. Apparently his first test came back, "coding error."

[1] The name we have given this property is far more unique than one might expect. The web search results all point to either Christine or I or a Google scanned book, "Record Society for the Publication of Original Documents Relating to Lancashire and Cheshire", Volume 11, 1885 where the term is a typo in the index pointing to Clowdewod.

Things that need to be returned:

1. The mailbox post that has a spring at the base and an anchor for asphalt. The current mailbox "post" is a 16" (or more) diameter pine log lashed to T posts with the mailbox nailed on it. Christine rigged this up when our first post was finally run all the way over. It's shorter than standard and the post office wants it brought up to standard height by 1 Feb. We've ordered a replacement already.

2. The smart watch i ordered as a Yule gift for myself (refurbished) which seems to require enterprise management software from Samsung to activate. I was attracted to the military grade "ruggedizing" and figured it would last during yard work. Turned out it was a little smaller too, which was nice. But no go.

Advice to get tested:

1. Sister: ... I am going to go get tested as well to have confirmation. Please urge dad to take him and mom to the Pittsboro urgent care today to be tested too. I called and talked to B---. Love you all. Brother:... I am going to get boys tested ASAP.

2. Pittsboro urgent care: Wait five to seven days after the contact tests positive, unless you are having symptoms.

There are three homes for sale in our zip code that are under $400,000, two of which are town homes.

I've 47 overdue to do items plus 4 for today. After marking things done that were done, and doing one, over half are gone.
