Yay, there's an Audible.com app for Android, so i will be able to listen to my audiobooks that i've bought from Audible on my phone. Huzzah!

I have decided i want to crochet and listen on my flights across country, not read digital books on the phone. I could queue up a bunch of podcasts, but i would prefer to listen to a long book. While there are certainly books i could listen to again (Gormanghast comes to mind), i'd just talked to a friend about finding good science fiction by referring to the James Tiptree, Jr Award. ("The James Tiptree, Jr. Award is an annual literary prize for works of science fiction ("SF") or fantasy that expand or explore one's understanding of gender. It was initiated in February of 1991 by SF authors Pat Murphy and Karen Joy Fowler, subsequent to a discussion at WisCon (the world's leading feminist-oriented science fiction convention).")

I started at the most recent award winner at wikipedia (2009, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tiptree_Award#Winners) and worked back. The first two books i found with Audible copies are these:

Camouflage/ Joe Haldeman
The Knife of Never Letting Go /Patrick Ness

SUSPICIOUS.
