For all the folks who know me at LJ and are moving to DW due to the distributed DOS attacks:
I pretty much post identical information in both places. Before today, i still used LJ's filters when i need to feel like i am posting to people i know and trust (often mainly to be sure i'm not doing posting something that ends up getting me Dooced). I'm going to start using Dreamwidth's filters as well, so the two sites will be completely synced. You only need to read in one place.
I've been happy with Dreamwidth and even more delighted with the coding culture that is supporting the platform. Dreamwidth values privacy and creativity, and i value Dreamwidth.
