Yay, colonoscopy complete with 3, probably benign, small polyps removed. Well, that's why i'm there. My Dad was a little older than i am now when he was diagnosed with colon cancer and had to have a chunk of colon removed. While colon cancer screenings are a trial, i am happy that the doctors can get biopsies and remove anything concerning as part of the procedure. It's the first time they've found polyps, so i feel a little ... vindicated? I'm thinking i last had a sigmoidoscopy last so it may have been ten years since the last full screening? Oh well.

And that's pretty much it. I feel like i can remember more of today than i have had in previous anesthetic encounters. I reread a library book to while away the time. Back to work, and the big presentation, tomorrow.

Glad to hear it! Mine last year (my first) had 2 polyps removed (benign), but I have to go back in 3 years.

First time I had 'scoping, tried it without anesthesia. I don't do anesthesia well. I do 'scoping w/o anesthesia even less well. Went with anesthesia the second time and glad I did. Glad everything came out well in the end for you (LOL).
