When i did this last on 15 Dec, it marked a shift back out of depression. I remember completing and feeling optimistic because i was able to face thinking about everything without overwhelming myself with the label "failure." As a retrospective -- looking back three weeks -- i'm a little frustrated. Nuking one week to illness doesn't excuse, blah, blah, blah, where did Judgement Lady come from?
Ah well. Somehow must continue forward without curling up into a ball and giving up because the forward motion didn't address anything i planned. (Thhhbbbbtttt!! I blow raspberries at my over serious over whatevered self. I'm feeling sorry for myself for leaving work early to do a good dead and being sick and tired. Cheerful compassion babe! For yourself!) (Ah, this is where the wise master can't help but whap the student over the head with the staff out of frustration.)
I did do some fun work with the genealogy research while i was "out," i should remind myself.
0. Time
* Have made music plans (thanks to a free ticket from a friend) and coffee with friends plans
* She's Geeky conference at end of Jan
* Oversight (which we may change to "Pastoral Care"), Library committees, "Warm Winter Nights" -- Friday nights at the meetinghouse to craft or play or do light work, and the women's reading group
Thus ends my bandwidth for January. I may drop the women's reading group, too.
* I am undecided about the Friends' LGBTQC concerns retreat. I have to commit next week, i think, and i just can't believe i will have the energy to go and come back with energy.
* I will need to use (a few?) more days at the end of Feb for my Bday.
* If i don't go away in Feb, that's three vacation days unused -- perhaps i should plan to take that work vacation.
* Still have two sets of Movie tix
* FOUR lessons in Waverly F's New Year workbook. Do on Saturday mornings?
1. SELF - some of these health oriented things have been added to my daily health chart
* Writing habits - Goal check in and Care check
* Eye appointment ideally before the new year.
* Regular health charting
** Diet - Low wheat (no bread, pasta), but not gluten-free (eg: malt flavoring). Low refined sugar. The wheat is fairly easy. The refined sugar is much harder. But Yuletide treats are mostly gone, so back to discipline.
** 20 min of exercise 3x week, hope for daily movement: Bronchitis has left my lungs all upset (or i'm still recovering: the cough is productive). I took a work break walk yesterday.
** Oils, vitamin D, & querc supplements as advised
** Roomba & sheet changing
* what to do about transformation "goals?"
* Y042 thoughts Notebook file started
2. F&F
This week, come up with a correspondence plan. Meanwhile, i think i did well over the past couple days posting some greetings and thanks
* Some sort of Yule/New Year's greeting to friends and family
** Greetings to doctors?
** Greetings to additional art folks?
** Thank you notes?
* Finish shibori handkerchiefs
* Valentine's greetings to fill the gap of missed New Year's greetings
* CALL GRANDPARENTS ON CHRISTMAS! (Graceful absence for Christine re Granddad?) Did not do. Perhaps this coming weekend?
* Skype siblings+parents on Christmas Did
* book order for kibbles reading (into jan) Have one of the two books, having difficulty reading it
3. COM
* library work making a plan for the next few months seems wise.
* oversight: committee creation
* DGM: read documents and send notes to J
* Friends LGBTQ Concerns as needed -- minute re no civil marriages? Didn't get an answer regarding this. Need to add Asheville minute
4. WORK
* reviews (2) & staff mgmt
* new years cards for staff running late -- will finish this morning i hope!
The following were Dec things, but OK through Jan. Not done!
* PRODUCT: catch up stuff (w-key & scripts) as other motion frozen for a while
* PROJECT: prepare for next planning meeting
Is it time to start working on an interim resume? Updating status? [Spring]
Should i take some online auth courses?
5. CRT
Target projects:
* Dye purple, red and brown
** includes shibori
* Two more alpaca angels
* Christine's hand warmers
* five photos for work
Open projects:
* finish crochet work, hemming on white shirt-jacket.
* start back on sweater
6. HOME
No progress over the holidays.
* computer & storage Need to document to support recovery; plan for Nevada's back up.
* Clean deck
* Carpet cleaning
* The HALL
* Plan donations
Well, woo!
Not in goals: GPS care and feeding.
† Because i have such a mental confusion with counting time units, these are labeled referring to the completed time period†† (retrospective) not the approaching time period (prospective).
†† I've two periods that are a quarter of a year long each: May 1-ish to August 1-ish; August 1-ish to November 1-ish. Then there's the holidays: November and Dec, winter: Jan and Feb, and spring: March and April.
