Christine had her 6th morning migraine in a row. Yesterday and today were accompanied with additional symptoms she's not had to suffer since she started medicating to stop the migraines. Worrisome. I am all flaring in my various chronic issues. We tested for COVID, just in case. Nope.
I asked Christine if she would mind me making her birthday cake. She appreciated the thought, "The Bavarian cream angel food cake?" Me "Bavarian cream?!" Ahah, her sister's recipe is much more trifle-y, just custard and cake in a 13x9 pan. Bavarian cream will set up, thanks to the gelatine (or agar-agar in our case) and be slicable. So glad i didn't splurge on a trifle bowl. And i can use the springform pan. Now to see if i can find an excellent coconut Bavarian cream recipe.
My brother brought up scheduling the trip to the archive. So we are on. What am i going to get out of the archive??
