So, yay for more pixels in the camera, but oh my heavens, my computer doesn't seem to cope well with more pixels in Lightroom 3. If i had to blame something for the slowdown, it would be mds, the mac's metadata server. "It serves all clients of the metadata APIs, including Spotlight. There are no configurations to mds, and users should not run mds manually." It uses over a GB of virtual memory, and often seems to be the only thing using the processor.

I resent the slowdown, imagining i should be able to zip zip zip through the things i want to do. Instead, i just have time to post these.
