Layoffs today and a firing yesterday (when i was out). The person fired -- not confident that the process was being used justly. One of the layoffs was someone i cared about.

And then Christine returned home from the vet with news that Greycie Loo likely has bone cancer that has metastasized. We're doing what we can to make her comfortable tonight and then take her to another vet tomorrow.

I think we're clear what our goals are here. I wish i could pick up and hold her, but it's clear that causes pain.

I am sorry for your bad news about Greece Loo. I hope she is comfortable in her last days.

Thank you. Greycie's doing better when she has prednisone in her system, which is apparently more frequently than not a wellness inducing med for cats, only rarely with agitation as a side effect.
