Falling asleep and waking to my usual audio rituals was comforting.

Care Check-In
Have i been using those tools that i know make my life better? (Or that i'm experimenting with?)

◊ be aware of joy and abundance (1): i was NOT, particularly over the weekend. I did finally realize i was turning away from that frame and choose to begin to be aware again. Not a particularly strong focus.
◊ be aware of transitions (joy/flow/meander) (1): health and breathing and energy levels have shifted -- but i haven't been as responsive to the shifts as i intend when i write "be aware." I've been more resentful.
√ respond to weekly journal prompts & health chart (1):
√ care for physical health - supplements, treatments, adaptions (1): Mostly well done: evening supplements, skin treatments as needed, some movement. Gaps taking the Querc supplement with meals (and calcium with lunch), indulging in ice cream and sweets (hoping for the upswing mood change, ignoring the likely downswing).
√ exercise or "work break walk" daily (1,4): considering my breathing, this is a yay, despite not walking yesterday (forgot) or Tuesday (too occupied).
X use "emotional hacks" [1] to avoid paralysis (1,4): weekend and Wednesday paralysis
◊ balance expressive creation, nurturing, and consuming others' (5,6): minimal creation and nurturing going on.
X ruthlessly delete cruft (1,4,6): no particular achievements in this area come to mind. I'm not giving myself a pass because i wanted to Freecycle some things over the weekend and there was someone who wanted something i have in a box for the Harvest festival and i couldn't be bothered to follow through in getting it to them.

Experimental spaces:

keep up with to-do's without overwhelming self: nah nah nah i can't hear you

use mental/emotional bookmarking: the whole coming back after putting something down is a big mystery to me.

identify yams [2]: some LJ responses took on yam status, and the DGM has some yams around it. Work writing is a yam. Library cmte and laundry are yammy, too. Crap. Too many yams.

Is just listing yams once a week OK? Should i do it on goal day? Should i have a yam day? When is it most productive to acknowledge my yams?
