Instead of focussing on my breath, in the predawn interim waiting for the kettle to boil, i dozed off and dreamed of filibusters in Congress. -- Do Not Want. Is this the result of counting #demonsheep before sleep?

I wish i could go to the Flyway Festival up at Mare Island but i've other plans, and i don't think i should be trying to shoe-horn things into my schedule at this point. My Mom was born on Mare Island, and i'm had just heard about the Tiffany windows in the chapel there. It turns out that there have been "Daffodil Teas" in April to raise money for chapel and window restoration. And an August festival. Hmm, cruises up the Delta.

I've gone ahead and added those to my annual events list -- it doesn't quite seem the right place, but i'm not quite sure where else to put them. I'm hoping i remember to use the list this year

Care Check-In
Have i been using those tools that i know make my life better? (Or that i'm experimenting with?)

√ be aware of joy and abundance (1): I was going to say no, but i do think that i am doing well at noticing those simple household moments of time with Christine and the cats. More joy and not the abundance. I guess i'm also aware of the abundance we have: i don't find myself worrying about needs. We still have debt, but i'm not so worried. Maybe this is working!
√ be aware of transitions (joy/flow/meander) (1): mostly the tides of energy from being sick
◊ respond to weekly journal prompts & health chart (1): Health chart is not getting the appropriate attention.
√ care for physical health - supplements, treatments, adaptions (1): The Querc/calcium lunch supplement doesn't happen. In fact, i find myself doubting the need for the Querc. The D and the oils seem important. I tried the nasal rinse for the first time, and i think if i can use it a couple times a week at first i can develop a more regular use. The asthma and nasal treatments seem necessary until the respiratory system recovers. The household adaptions need energy, which being sick subverts, so those haven't been managed.
◊ exercise or "work break walk" daily (1,4): No exercise, but some work breaks. Wednesday i puttered on the deck and got the mail
- use "emotional hacks" [1] to avoid paralysis (1,4):
◊ balance expressive creation, nurturing, and consuming others' (5,6): Not exactly balanced, but i did make bread (even if it went sour) and had deck time. My sick-bed media consumption was what i needed.
√ ruthlessly delete cruft (1,4,6): Computer desktop and download folders got cleaned out. Freecycle post finally posted.

◊ keep up with to-do's without overwhelming self:
X use mental/emotional bookmarking:
√ identify yams [2]:
