Annoyance: the yoga video that Christine helped me rip from the VHS will not go on the Evo. All the conversions i try produce a video without sound. And the sound is the important part. Fiddlesticks. (I wave a magic wand over the annoyance and, abracadabra!, it disappears!) I'm passing the file to Christine, who will work media magic on it, again.
Another annoyance: we're done with with the organic delivery people. I eventually learned to cope with potential mold issues and so on, but the delivery person has gotten completely flaky over the past weeks. Didn't pick up the box when leaving the boxes; didn't come get the boxes when scheduled; didn't leave the last order at all. Done. (Another wave of the magic wand, and most of the annoyance is gone, but four big bins still wait in the living room. A sense of potential has appeared, though.) I will try to make myself go to some of the local Saturday markets. I suspect there will be more sensual pleasure in the process, even if it means more time spent. I suspect, too, i can find ways to meet up with folks.
More annoyances: my physical irritations. The canker sores continue to develop without a gap of time for relief. It's been ... over a month, i think. I know when i took time off for playing with dye and yarn i believed things were getting better. Two on the tip of my tongue. Were they there around the 4th of July? can't remember. Last health tag was on 11 July and clearly the cankers had been going on for a week. So it's not quite a month, but almost. This is an extreme experience as usually the flare of cankers dies after five days. Fortunately, this last flush of cankers has been all simple cankers and not the type that create the sense of malaise, of an inflammation throughout my face.
I'm happy to say the asthma and rhinitis did decline soon after the 11th, but the dermis issues continue. I'm having some new rhinitis issues today, but haven't noticed asthma symptoms.
And this is why i have to record these things: having a documentation trail keeps me from exaggerating. (A third wave of the wand, and all that appears is hope.) I've not been in this discomfort forever; i will likely feel better soon.

The delivery stuff sounds really annoying. Personally, I love going to the farmer's market, and find it fun. Maybe you'll enjoy it more too!

In case you decide to go back to delivery at any point in the future, the housemate is now using spud and is quite happy with tehm, much more so than with whoever she used 2 years ago.

It's interesting that the organization that does Sunnyvale's market is the same one to do Palo Alto's California market.
