Luigi (one of our geriatric cats) seemed to be having even more trouble getting around, so Christine took him to an emergency vet visit. She has better advice for the laser treatments*, a prescription for gabapentin, and a plan for some medication delivered by injection. I think of Greycie Loo, racked by cancer but still with a will for life - -but not a will to eat. Luigi is so companionable and sweet: i hope we can find a reasonable course to keep the pain back until he shows us he's ready.

Still waiting for the doctor to write my prescription for the APAP.

Got the second booster. Assuming light malaise is that and not due to it being seven days after being out with my sister. I'll take a test before gathering with family at lunch.

If you want to treat your cat with laser therapy, you can buy them on the internet and do it your self.

I switched to Moderna for my second booster after three rounds of Pfizer. Woke up the next morning, did my cardio, and ate breakfast thinking well, that wasn't so bad. Then the chills, fatigue and overall pain started. This was the first time I had any reaction aside from soreness at the injection site. I was somewhat better by evening but still feeling slightly under the weather for a day or two. I lost my appetite somewhat as well, which is very unusual for me.

I gave my late arthritic cat glucosamine chondroitin (sprinkled over her food) and it seemed to really help her movement and pain. Alas, eventually a brain tumor got her. *sad*
Hope everyone gets well soon!

Our elderly beagle's last year or two was full of laser treatments, gabapentin, and even acupuncture and a treadmill-chest-deep-in-water hydrotherapy. It all seemed to help.
