My respiratory system continues to be unpleasant. Just how much drainage can there be? (Sorry) Also, headache.

I'm not sure what it is this year about Valentine's day. Normally, i can be happily oblivious to marketing and the digital Valentine collections. I use the holiday -- if my act is together -- to write notes to friends (usually because such notes didn't make it out at Yule) and family. Christine and I are now comfortable with the holiday (pre-transition there were many stresses that we seem to have worked out). But this year i am finding my inner grade schooler feeling all ... what? ... sour grapes? about social networking Valentines. I am not sure why i care
This work day was ... frustrating. I remain aware of all the stuff that is overdue. I did get some scheduling communication done today, but pulling everything together is going slowly. People don't close tickets when they are done with them. Argh. Cleaning up several month's worth....
The next two nights have Meeting things, Saturday another Meeting thing, and Sunday coffee with colleagues. The plans for my colleague's retirement party.... Yams and...
I wish i was either really well or back to being so sick i didn't care.
